“I am very disappointe with the result,” the Spanish coach told the BBC.

“I’m very proud of the team’s performance and we had more chances than them (Chelsea), they had more possession in situations where they didn’t create any danger, their goalkeeper (Robert Sanchez) played very well.

“When you play against an opponent like this, if you don’t take your chances and you miss a penalty. You feel like you’re going to be punished and in the end they did.

“We can’t ask for more from our players. We have to continue in the same way and try to close the final third better.”
